Terminal pane
DeckCrate has an embedded terminal — a real shell at the current folder, shown in the same slot as the preview pane.
Open it from the command menu → Tools → Open terminal here. There’s one terminal per tab, and it stays running while the app is open.

- Press X to open the on-screen keyboard and start typing.
- Press B to hide the pane — the session keeps running.
- Press Y to destroy the session entirely.
On a physical keyboard, Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Esc leaves typing mode so your key presses go back to the file manager.
